Mónica Ferreira

I hold a degree in Human Resources Management and a postgraduate diploma in Tourism from the University of Porto. I am currently completing an Executive MBA at Porto Business School, with expected graduation in February 2026, focusing on leadership, finance, and strategic decision-making.

Over the past 22 years, I have developed a robust professional background in Human Resources, with 12 years of experience in Portugal and 10 years in Angola. I have worked across multiple sectors - including construction, energy, hospitality, and scientific research - supporting organizations through different stages of growth and transformation.

My core expertise lies in talent acquisition and onboarding, training and development, performance management, and contract and policy structuring. I have led strategic HR initiatives, designed internal processes from scratch, and implemented people-driven solutions in multicultural and often complex environments.

Having worked in both corporate and operational contexts, I am particularly interested in how organizational culture, leadership development, and career design contribute to long-term sustainability and employee engagement. My experience has taught me how to balance administrative rigor with a human-centred approach, ensuring compliance while promoting inclusive and empowering work environments.

I am currently focused on deepening my knowledge in the areas of strategic HR management and organizational transformation, both through academic study and practical application. I am especially motivated by the opportunity to contribute to purpose-driven institutions, where HR plays a central role in enabling talent, innovation, and institutional excellence.
