Tiago Marques

I hold a degree in Management from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto and have around 20 years’ experience in corporate retail and consumer goods organisations. 

My career has been predominantly developed in finance-related roles, starting as a management controller. I have led the integration and implementation of management control systems across subsidiaries, supported M&A processes, and assumed Investor Relations responsibilities in a listed company. In addition, I was responsible for Decathlon’s expansion in the northern region of Portugal and led a joint venture aimed at introducing an LVMH-owned brand into the Portuguese market.

I am currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Porto Business School, where my academic interests focus on leadership, value creation and sustainable business models, particularly in the actual context of technological development and innovation.
