Models in invasion ecology: challenges and applications

This course will be coordinated by Joana Vicente (CIBIO) and Quentin Groom (co-chair of the COST Action CSI).

Objectives and skills that will be provided:

- Invasion ecology;

- Different modelling techniques, namely: Habitat Suitability modelling, Stochastic dynamic modelling, Multivariate modelling;

- Introduction to R software and statistical programming;

- Spatial analyses of ecological and environmental data;
