WORKSHOP INTRODUCTION TO RAD DATA ANALYSIS

Taking place on September 24-26, 2014, this short course by Alan Brelsford, Univ. Lausanne, will cover the following topics:

-Introduction to Unix command-line environment
-Demultiplexing and quality control of raw sequence data
-Analysis of GBS/RAD data without a reference genome using Stacks
-Analysis of GBS/RAD data with a reference genome using Bowtie/Samtools
-Export and quality filtering of raw genotypes using Vcftools
-Brief student presentations and discussion on their current or future genotyping-by-sequencing projects
