MÁRIO FERREIRA RECEIVES "PRÉMIO FLUVIÁRIO"

Mário Ferreira, researcher of CIBIO-InBIO was distinguished with Prémio Fluviário – Jovem Cientista do Ano, sponsored by Fluviário de Mora, ex-aequo with Mariana Pandeirada (Universidade de Aveiro).

The prize was earned by Mário in recognition for his scientific paper ‘Mediterranean amphibians and the loss of temporary ponds: Are there alternative breeding habitats’, published in the journal Biological Conservation, in wich he is co-author together with Pedro Beja (CIBIO-InBIO).
