Ana Capote

After graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, I moved to the UK where I acquired significant experience in operations management. In 2019, I joined the Lab Management Team at University College London, where I worked as a Lab Operations Manager until 2025, when I returned to Portugal and joined CIBIO-InBIO. 

My professional background includes 10 years in the technical administration of operations. I am experienced in optimising workflows and implementing systems, with focus on scientific research and educational settings. My aim is to plan and organise processes to improve efficiency, safety and achieve organisational goals.
