I obtained my degree in Geology in 2001, followed by the completion of my Master's degree in Dynamic Geology at Lisbon University in 2008. In 2011, I joined LARC and ENVARCH as a geoarchaeologist. Subsequently, in 2022, I successfully defended my PhD in Prehistoric Archaeology at Cantabria University.
As a geoarchaeologist, my primary focus revolves around studying the environmental evolution of coastal areas. I am particularly focused in exploring the intricate relationship between human occupation and the dynamic interplay of natural processes in shaping the coastal morphology.
Furthermore, I devote time to studying the formation and alteration processes of prehistoric archaeological sites by analyzing sediments retrived from the sites using a variety of sedimentological and environmental indicators.
