PhD Student
I received my Bachelor and Master degrees in Landscape Architecture from Instituto Superior de Agronomia – Universidade de Lisboa (ISA-UL).
I then moved to Switzerland where I interned as a landscape architect. While there, I also completed a Master in Spatial Planning and GIS from Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas – Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA FCSH), having done my thesis in conservation planning at the Spatial Ecology Group (ECOSPAT) – Université de Lausanne.
After two years in The Netherlands, I returned to Portugal for my PhD. I am currently studying ecological memory and the role of historical anthropic occupation dynamics on current biodiversity patterns in the Douro region.
My work is supported by UPorto/FCUP under program NORTE 2020.
