Catarina Ferreira

I have a Bsc. in Environmental Sciences and Technology. Currently I am working on my Masters in Ecology and Environment, with the theme  "Ecological Modeling of the Macaronesian-Mediterranean Junipers (Juniperus L. Sect. Juniperus) and conservation of the near endemic tree Juniperus navicularis Gand.", as I always had a great passion for both the environment and IT areas. 

Professionally, I've spent a year in environmental monitoring and education and science communication at CIIMAR. Now, as an automation engineer at EDP Renewables, I focus on enhancing operational processes.

Off-duty, I'm into video games, crochet, music, and a diverse range of books.
