Diogo Cláudio Pavão

Holding a Ph.D. in Biology by the University of the Azores, I have a thorough knowledge of the Azorean forests, followed by a special interest of all plant and animal communities therein. In all my academic journey, I gained a relevant interest in data analysis. Worked mainly in natural ecosystems of Azores archipelago, with research expertise in the areas of Ecology, Biodiversity, Biostatistics, Ecosystem Services and Dendrochronology. However, given the focus on data analysis, my research interests have been extended to ecological modelling techniques applied to different biological models. Besides this focus, I collaborated and developed works in other areas such and ecotourism.
