Hajer Bouraffa

I'm an MSc student currently pursuing my degree in Biotechnological Engineering. 

As part of the Coastal Warming group, my thesis research centers on examining tidepools in the north of Portugal. My main objective is to understand the impact of climate change on these ecosystems by analysing thermal data and identifying temporal trends in their temperature fluctuations. Additionally, I'm using photogrammetry to establish 3D models of the pools to study their dimensions and topography. 

This recent transition into coastal research marks a significant milestone in my academic journey, reflecting my longstanding interest in exploring the various aspects of marine sciences.
