Following the bachelor’s degree in Biology, I enrolled in the MSc in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Bioentrepreneurship in Plants at University of Minho, where I explored the dynamics of unisexual flower formation in Quercus orocantabrica.
Currently, as part of my PhD project, I am studying the molecular mechanisms underlying flower formation, flowering induction and dormancy cycles in the Quercus genus, aiming at correlating contrasting phenological behaviours with divergent molecular patterns.
