Laura Regalado has a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry (2019) and a Master's degree in Application in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology (2022), both from the University of Porto.
Currently a PhD student at the University of Porto with a project focused on deciphering the epidemiology of the phytopathogenic bacteria Erwinia amylovora and exploring molecular mechanisms driving putative environmental adaptation, whilst developing a reliable E. amylovora-specific biosensor for early on field detection.
