I did internships in various laboratories in Angola, with experience in microbiology, zooplankton reading and quality control in factories. I also took part in a biodiversity internship where I was exposed to various conservation projects such as elephants, turtles, sable antelope, etc. for about 2 years, and for the last 5 years I have been working as an environmental and social consultant in various sectors. I'm very interested in working with primates such as gorillas and Galagos, but the Galagos caught my attention because there are no genetic studies on the species in Angola and recently a new species was discovered. I would like to work on the phylogeny of the group and formulate hypotheses about their speciation or evolution into different species that exist in the country.
