I am a conservation biologist, and most of my work focuses on the impacts of linear infrastructures (roads and power lines) on biodiversity and ecosystems. My research has covered diverse aspects of Road ecology: road-kills, barrier effect, behavioural impacts, mitigation measures, road-related biological invasions, etc. Similarly, at CIBIO-InBIO and CEABN-InBIO, I am mainly focusing on the different impacts of power lines on biodiversity, such as bird mortality (due to collision and electrocution) and behavioural changes related to power lines, but also on the effectiveness of impact monitoring and mitigation measures.
