I got my BSc in Biology by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto in 2020 where I joined IMED for my curricular internship project. During my Master's degree in Applications in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology I developed my dissertation project with IMED about the evolution of the immune system of mammals. During my PhD I will continue to focus on the evolution of the immune system, but expand my analysis and perform functional studies.
