I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP). However, due to my massive interest in animal conservation, I decided to pursue it instead. This led me to earn a second Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from FCUP. I worked as an intern in two projects related to the genetic conservation of native game species, the red-legged partridge and the European rabbit. Working with wolves has been a lifelong ambition of mine and as such, I have also been taking part in projects conducted by CIBIO/InBIO dedicated to wolf monitoring.
