Patrícia Teixeira

I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution at the University of Porto. I graduated from the same institution in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, where during my internship I had the opportunity to study how the loss of genes correlates with the loss of the stomach in platypuses. Presently, I am researching the diet of the little bustard for my Master’s thesis. My principal areas of interest are the evolution of species and the conservation of biodiversity in the context of the current anthropogenic pressures.
