I completed my bachelor’s degree in Biology (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) and my master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation in Tropical Regions (Menéndez Pelayo International University - Spanish National Research Council). I developed my MSc thesis on phylogeography of earwigs at the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales (Madrid, Spain). During this time, I collaborated with the Biodiversity Screening Lab group working on systematics and phylogeography of Dermaptera and Coleoptera.
Currently, I am a BIODIV student and my PhD focus on determine whether morphological disparity and species diversity are, or are not, decoupled along evolutionary radiations in oceanic islands, working with a group of darkling beetles from Cabo Verde.
