I am an archaeologist currently working at the Museum of Natural History and Science of the University of Porto. I have a graduation in History/Archaeology (University of Lisbon, Faculty of Humanities, 2002) and a Master in Geoarchaeology (University of Lisbon, Faculty of Sciences, 2009).
I have focused my research activity in prehistoric archaeology, mostly the Late Pleistocene and the Early/Middle Holocene. I am particularly interested in the exploitation and use of lithic resources, site formation processes and large scale landscape and social transformations. Other subjects, such as the exploitation of biotic resources, dietary habits, population mobility and funerary practices have also been addressed in my investigation. In these scopes, I have collaborated with specialists of several areas (Zooarchaeology, Geology, Anthropology, Archaeobotany, etc.).
