Rita Silva

I am a conservation scientist mainly interested in marine environments. My past work has aimed to understand biodemographic patterns to fill knowledge gaps while supporting conservation efforts. I am particularly keen in using methodologies and datasets that are often disregarded by scientists and take advantage of the highly technological and global shared information era we live in. My main research goal is to develop and implement state-of-the-art technological and methodological solutions that can fill gaps in current practices. I aim to promote sustainable and frequent collaborations across fields while exploring the links between climate and biodiversity.
