Study of the Azorean Chrysopidae (Insecta: Neuroptera) populations, their use as biological control agents and compatibility with other control agents
These project aimed the knowledge of the populations of an important group of auxiliary entomofauna, the common green lacewings (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae), and trace its biogeographic origins through morphological and genetic analyses.
After species determination it was our goal to infer their potential as biological control agents, whilst testing its compatibility with other biological control agents, namely entomopathogenic fungus.
