Practical Courses in Biology

Taking place at Porto’s Botanical Garden and in the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto, this series of practical courses in biology promoted by CIBIO-InBIO researchers aims to introduce the general public to research methods and techniques used in the biological sciences to identify plants, animals and other organisms, and raise awareness about the biodiversity that can be found in Portugal.
The last course in this series, focusing on bioinformatics, gives the participants the chance to explore state-of-the-art techniques at the interface between biology and computer science.
