Post-Doc Researcher
I am interested in ecological modeling and in developing methodologies to better understand and predict environmental change impacts on biodiversity that also contribute to facilitate decision-making in conservation and management. Recently I worked in the co-design of a European biodiversity monitoring network and in showcasing how biodiversity data can be useful for early warning, for the bioeconomy, and for EU citizens in general, by developing short-term forecasts of varied ecological and biological phenomena using citizen science observations. Currently I am involved in the NaturaConnect project, where I will combine stakeholder consultation and research to tackle multi-scale nature connectivity and corridors design to enhance the connectivity of the future Natura 2000 network at different spatial scales.
