I hold a MSc degree in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution and a degree in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. I am currently a PhD student investigating the role of cleanerfish and their cleaning stations on microbial diversity and community-level processes in coral reefs, and specifically the exchange of microbes between cleanerfish and their clients.
