I have broad interests in the interface between ecological theory and the development of wildlife management and conservation strategies. My research focuses on terrestrial mammal species and community-level wildlife responses to environmental change and conservation management options, particularly within the context of predator-predator and predator-prey networks. I am interested in combining large-scale and targeted field data (e.g., camera trapping) with spatial and community eco-statistical modelling to answer ecologically- and management-relevant questions.

In 2021, I earned a Ph.D. degree from the University of Lisbon, Portugal, researching the ecology of South African carnivore assemblages under multi-tenure conservation estates and large-predator-driven management concepts. Afterwards, I joined the University of British Columbia, Canada, as a postdoctoral fellow studying disturbance-mediated changes to boreal mammal spatial networks. Currently, I am a Post-doc researcher in the WildEcol group, focusing on the conservation ecology of wildlife communities and populations in southern Africa.
