Maria José Dias Curado
Assistant Professor
Maria José Curado is Assistant Professor at Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, in 1st, 2nd and 3th cicles of Landscape Architecture courses. Is a member of the Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources developing its research in the field of landscape ecology, land use planning and landscape management. She is founder and director of the Landscape Observatory of FCUP, created in October 2017.
Maria José has a degree in Landscape Architecture from ISA - Univ. Lisbon Technician (1994), Master in Planning and Urban Environment Project by FE / FA - Univ. Porto (1998) and PhD in Environmental Applied Sciences from Univ. Aveiro (2003).
Before joining the academic career, from 1994 to 2004, she developed the professional activity of Landscape Architecture in a liberal professional system.
